Fall is upon us, and I guess it has been for a while, but nevertheless that means Pre-Fall is also upon us and I’ve had the chance to look through some of the most recent shows a la style.com (click on the pictures to go there) and decided to just quickly upload my favorites and the designs and designers I’ll be taking some inspiration from this winter. Can I even do that? Mix up the seasons?? According to me absolutely I can because I also wear sweaters during the summer.
I won’t lie, I was picky with this season, but these three looks instantly snatched my attention. They are all effortless and transfer so easily into an everyday wardrobe, which is always something I look for since as much as I’d love to wear anything and everything Karl Lagerfeld has ever dreamt up, I just don’t have the funds nor ingenuity to re-create them. So starting from left to right, we have a lovely pink number from Rodebjer. The simplicity of this one is really what caught me. In this new age of “rompers” this is one of the few I’d like to be wearing right now. The second is Sonia by Sonia Rykiel, and what I love most about this look (besides the model’s brows) are the details. Everything from the pleating on the pants to that to-die-for pattern on the jacket just scream thought out. And last but not least is my absolute favorite look of the Pre-Fall season, which comes from Tomas Maier. This look emulates one of my fashion mantras which is, “Did she just wake up or did she spend hours getting ready?” Point is, you can all expect a post very soon on this look re-created.
Thanks again for reading and I hope you enjoyed, feel free to share and comment xx.
